Mission Statement
Collaborative Design Strategies business focusses on helping the retailer and hospitality industries to find the appropriate vendors to design, build, furnish and merchandise new and renovated spaces. I have array of vendors that I have worked with and previously vetted . The goal is to help the retailers “get rid of the headache” of searching for quality and qualified vendors. My vendors range from Lighting, Visual Merchandising, Design & Fabrication, Architecture, Flooring, General Construction and Maintenance, etc.
Biography
Cynthia founded Collaborative Design Strategies in 2017. She has been working in the retail industry for eight years now, and has been on both the vendor side and the architectural design firm side. Her many relationships in the industry enable her to make valuable connections assisting the retail industry in finding the right vendors to partner with. Cynthia is the current President of the NY Chapter of the Retail Design Institute and is an active member of Shop! Enhancing Retail Environments & Experiences, acting as chair of their Creative Council and Women’s League. The Shop! Association awarded Cynthia with the 2019 Volunteer of the year award at the annual ShopX Conference in Atlanta in November, 2019.
